Motorola Xoom Family Edition für Kinder jetzt für 379$ erhältlich
Motorola hat am Freitag in einer Pressemitteilung eine neue Version des Motorola Xooms angekündigt, die jetzt in den USA für 379 US Dollar erhältlich ist und für Familien mit Kindern gedacht ist. Die Motorola Xoom Family Edition ist von der Hardware her identisch mit den bisherigen Xooms, in dem Tablet steckt also der 1GHz DualCore Tegra 2 Chip, 1GB RAM und 16GB Speicher. Auch das Display ist weiterhin 10 Zoll groß und hat eine Auflösung von 1280×800, es ist eben ein ganz normales Motorola Xoom. Das besondere an der Family Edition ist, dass Apps wie Kid Zone, Asphalt 6 und Sim City Deluxe vorinstalliert sind, die einen Wert von 40 US Dollar haben sollen. In den USA ist schon länger Android 3.2 Honeycomb für das Xoom erhältlich, jedoch wird die Family Edition noch mit Android 3.1 ausgeliefert. Ob die Motorola Xoom Family Edition auch in Europa erscheinen wird, ist bisher nicht bekannt.
