Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus mit 1,2GHz DualCore und Android 3.2 offiziell angekündigt

Vor ein paar Wochen sind im Netz erste Bilder von einem neuen Tablet von Samsung aufgetaucht, die ein 7 Zoll Tablet zeigten, das dem alten Galaxy Tab sehr ähnlich sah. Nun hat Samsung das neue Tablet mit dem Namen Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus offiziell in einer Pressemitteilung angekündigt. Das Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus hat ein 7 Zoll Display mit einer Auflösung von 1024×600 Pixeln und kommt mit einem 1,2GHz DualCore Prozessor. Dazu gibt es 1GB RAM und je nach Version 16GB oder 32GB Speicher, sowie ein GSM/GPRS/EDGE und 3G Modul. Man wird mit dem Tablet also nicht nur mobil im Internet surfen, sondern anscheinend auch damit telefonieren können. Auf dem Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus läuft Android 3.2 Honeycomb, auf das Samsung die eigene TouchWiz Oberfläche legen wird. Ende Oktober soll das Tablet in Indonesien und Österreich erscheinen, danach sollen andere Länder folgen. Ein Preis ist noch nicht bekannt.

Da das Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus sehr dem originalen Samsung Galaxy Tab ähnelt, wird Samsung das Tablet vermutlich auch in Deutschland verkaufen dürfen, ohne Probleme mit Apple zu bekommen. Bei dem ersten Galaxy Tab hatte Apple sich bezüglich ihrer Patente oder Geschmacksmuster nie beschwert.

With 7-inch display, GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus provides enhanced portability, weighing just 345g and measuring at just 9.96mm thin. Enhanced portability ensures that it fits easily into an inside-jacket pocket or a handbag, making it an ideal device for those who need to stay productive and entertained while on-the-move.

Advanced Productivity
GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus delivers a smooth and intuitive user experience with powerful performance powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor. Mini Apps allows seamless multitasking by consolidating 7 applications easily accessed from a bottom-side tray on main screen. Users can launch favorite features such as music player or calendar as pop-ups over full screen applications. GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus will be available starting in Indonesia and Austria from end-October and gradually rolled to globally including Southeast and Southwest Asia, US, Europe, CIS, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Japan and China.
