7 Zoll Asus MeMo Pad für 150$ offiziell vorgestellt

Die CES ist zwar schon vorbei, allerdings hindert das Asus nicht daran, ein neues 7 Zoll Tablet vorzustellen: Das Asus ME172V.

Auf der CES konnten Business-Besucher das Tablet schon betrachten. Für die anderen hat Asus nun eine Pressemitteilung veröffentlicht.

Beim Asus MeMo Pad ME172V handelt es sich um ein 7 Zoll-Tablet im unterem Preissegment. Böse Zungen sagen sogar, es handelt sich hier um ein Billigtablet. Zugegeben entsprechen die technischen Daten nicht gerade dem eines Highend-Tablets. Das Display löst mit ordentlichen aber nicht überragenden 1024*600 Pixeln auf. Angetrieben wird das Gerät nur von einem 1 Ghz Prozessor und einem Gigabyte Arbeitsspeicher. Dafür ist allerdings eine Mali 400 GPU verbaut, die für die Grafikausgabe zuständig ist. Zudem stehen einem wahlweise 8Gb oder 16Gb Flashspeicher zur Verfügung, welcher sich allerdings sogar noch erweitern lässt. Dies geschieht mit einer MicroSd-Karte bis maximal 32Gb. Als Betriebssystem ist Android 4.1 JellyBean dabei.

Die Akkulaufzeit des Gerätes soll 7 Stunden betragen. Dafür soll ein 4270mAh großer Akku sorgen.

Das Tablet macht einen soliden Eindruck, wenn man bedenkt, dass es für gerade mal 150 Us Dollar und wahrscheinlich auch 150 Euro auf den Markt kommen soll.
